We have a lot of logfile generating devices but as of yet we have never deployed a syslog server. I m just wondering if you guys know a good free syslog server that can filter and do search. It does have some ability to handle and rotate logs automatically to avoid bloat and can also trigger scripts or programs based on thresholds that can be set.
