Sorry for being out of pocket for a few weeks i ve been very busy with a side project which has now come to an end. Discussion in 1st gen. Air mattress and all. Low and behold this lil taco was for sale an hour and a half south on the border of georgia and north carolina.

This is my setup in the back of my 2014 toyota tacoma trd off road short bed dante the tacoma. After a quick internet search we decided that we wanted to look for a toyota tacoma with a bed camper shell. I have a 3 4inch higher than cab hieght camper and the set up works really well for me i can sit up which is nice. Just a quick questions in regards to sleeping in a short bed does anyone not use a bed tent or bed cap when camping.

Ive lived out of reg bed tacoma and t100 for a long time pretty comfortably but not sure on this one. I only slept in my truck in october in erie when it got below freezing so sleeping with the tailgate down isn t an option for me. I will be doing some overlanding trips this summer and its much easier to just set up the camp cot and sleep in the bed with the tailgate down but no roof. Im looking into purchasing an older 4dr short bed tacoma the model before they put long beds on em. Online shopping for sports outdoors from a great selection of blankets. Of course some of those fishing trips. I used 3 4 inch plywood to build the whole platform in my bed of the truck on top of the wheel well.
